WHAT IS MISS BALI TROPIX?
The pageant is open to ladies ages 18 – 35 who represent the true beauty of the island. 25 contestants will be challenged as runway, fashion and spokes models but what they will learn along the way are valuable lessons about life, family, charity and humanity. The top 10 finalists will live as guests at FashionTV’s hotel for the final 30 days leading up to the pageant. Training to be a spokes model means the girls represent a variety of sponsors. We’ve developed special “sponsor challenges” to test the girls. This year’s sponsor challenges may include shark diving, learning culinary skills with top chefs, helping raise money & awareness for this year’s charity dinner and more. The sponsors and pageant share a genuine interest in helping empower these young women. We hope to help them explore their inner beauty, their aspirations, and their very own style. WHAT CAN I DO TO BEST PREPARE FOR THE PAGEANT?
All Contestants must speak, read and write English. Contestants may be of any nationality and reside in any country. However, all contestants must be available for all live events, photo shoots, film dates, press conferences, luncheons, etc, once entry is submitted. This will be from August until the Finals on October 10, 2015. Work schedule must be flexible as there will be ongoing activities throughout this period. All contestants must have mobile devices, along with Facebook and Instagram accounts as there will be online voting and fans interaction.
WHAT IS MISS BALI TROPIX TV SERIES?
This year will be Season 1 of the Miss Bali Tropix Reality Series filming the daily life, challenges and activities of the contestants throughout Bali. Episodes can be watched weekly on MissBaliTropixTV.com.
ARE THERE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. All submissions must be at least 18 and under 36 years of age before June1st in the year they hope to compete in the Miss Bali Tropix pageant. All contestants must have proper identification/passports to apply.
CAN I COMPETE MORE THAN ONCE?
Yes, contestants may apply yearly.
WHAT IS THE FEE FOR SUBMISSION?
There is no entry fee.
WHAT IS THE JUDGING CRITERIA FOR MISS BALI TROPIX?
Contestants will be judged as a spokes model for the Bali Tropix body care line and possibly other sponsors/brands involved. Therefore, beauty, communications skills, grace, poise and personality will be judged. Scoring: 20%-online votes, 20%-audience participation at finals, 20% challenges, 40% Judges’ decisions.

WHAT DO I WIN?
The gifts, cash prizes and modeling contract awarded to the winner of Miss Bali Tropix, 2nd & 3rd runners up varies from year to year. Currently, this year's gifts and cash combined total over IDR 100 million rupia. This is a combined total including cash, vacation, sponsor gifts, modeling contract and more. Total value may change during contest period.
